Today’s podcast interview is all about giving hope to eczema sufferers around the world.
In this episode, I had the privilege of connecting with Julie Block, the CEO of the National Eczema Association to learn more about why 2015 is a year of hope for those suffering with eczema.
As someone who used to suffer from such incredibly severe eczema for so long before, I felt so alone during the process and I can’t believe that I never looked into the National Eczema Association during my flare ups. To be honest, I had no idea what they did and what resources they had on hand for someone like me.
After speaking with Julie, I learned that the National Eczema Association does so much and offers so many resources from those suffering from eczema that I didn’t know about; I wish I had been more involved and used their resources earlier.
During the interview, I was so touched by Julie’s passion and care to help those suffering from eczema. It’s so great to know that a CEO invests so much in helping with eczema and really wants to help people overcome it! There’s nothing better than having someone lead an organization who really cares about it.
I’m excited to share this podcast with you because even while talking to her, I believe that, like Julie, that we’re all in this together and we’re eventually going to make a difference in the lives of eczema sufferers.

I personally had no idea that the association offers kids camps for those suffering from it (and that they even have packages that kids can take to school to educate their teachers/school about eczema!). All in all, I’m glad that the National Eczema Association does so much research, puts on campaigns, and conducts so many initiatives to help people with eczema. It’s definitely very encouraging.
