Thanks for stopping by Eczema Conquerors!
My name is Abby and I became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.) after suffering from severe eczema. My journey started in my mid 20’s several years ago, when I used to suffer from eczema so bad, that doctors said it was the worse that they had ever seen. When it flared up, I had trouble walking, sleeping, and even doing simple things like getting ready – simply because it caused me so much physical pain.
My legs looked burnt, and doctors put me on medication, steroids, and almost everything under the sun – but nothing worked until I completely changed my diet, added missing nutrients to my body and high quality supplements to support it.
After finally changing my diet and following different protocols to heal my body, my skin cleared up significantly within 2 months! It was not completely clear yet, but the amount of healing that took place was insane – and to this day – I thank the nutrition that I received from food, which became my best medicine.
You can read my story here on how I overcame severe eczema.
With all that I’ve been through, it’s currently my life mission and purpose to help people overcome eczema (and yes, that includes helping you!).

Marriage…
In 2014, I married this wonderful man who stuck with me when my eczema flared up all over my body (read/watch our eczema dating tips and story here!). He stuck with me through the hard times, said I love you when my skin was flaking everywhere, and was with me until my healing period.
The journey hasn’t always been easy – and even though I get lots of emails from readers who are scared that there partner will leave them because of their eczema, I’ve also had fears and worries of that too.
But I encourage you to just enjoy your relationship (after all, your partner is with you for a reason!).
I feel blessed to be able to be called his wife now – and I hope all of you know that you deserve to be loved even when you have an eczema flare up! ?
Becoming a Mom…
In 2016, we found out that I was pregnant. 🙂
It’s been a really exciting journey so far – and pregnancy has definitely had it’s ups and downs (especially with all the hormonal changes!).
I’ve experienced so many new things and have also faced new challenges.
There’s also been times that I’ve been worried that my little one will have eczema – but I feel much more confident now, that after everything I’ve been through, that I’ll be able to help my baby overcome it (if he ever has it). And I hope to write more pregnancy and baby eczema posts to help all the parents out there who are going through this.
Welcoming my baby boy
In 2017, we welcomed my baby boy into this world! I still can’t believe I’m a mom now and I’ve officially joined motherhood!
Here’s my baby boy when he was only a few days old 😉
Here’s my baby Cooper at 3 months old – wearing baby earphones (the ones that help protect his ears from loud noises) 😉
I feel like I’m falling more in love with my baby boy everyday. I didn’t know this was possible to love someone so much!
I will be updating you all on my adventures on this blog. So far, motherhood is so rewarding, and I can’t believe I love my baby so much. I look forward to sharing more about it with you all.

“Oh wow your website is amazing! !! You are my life saviour! Seriously. I will go by your elimination diet and purchase coconut oil definitely! I will tell all my friends in Czech about your page and spread your wisdom! I wish I could give you the favour back because what you do is truly amazing and inspiring! Thanks for opening my eyes on what I eat and put on my skin, you cannot imagine how much it means to me Abby, GREAT THANKS” – Denisa B.
“Thank you Abby for creating this blog. You have brought light and courage into our lives. We have a 10 yr old daughter that has been struggling with eczema for the last 8 months or so and were losing patience before my wife Martha found your blog to the point where we were considering to bring our daughter to one of those medical centers that supposedly treat eczema (children’s hospital in Boston, a jewish center in Denver and I believe another center in Chicago). Your blog reminded us about a very important step when treating eczema, which is changing the diet, which we were supposed to do a while ago, but we lost control of it. We are now going to work on a diet plan for our daughter. Thank you again and God Bless you.” – Jaime & Martha
