I’m so excited to announce to you that my 3rd eBook launches today!
Over the last few months, I’ve been working hard to bring you this new eBook. I’m excited because this ebook is full of new information to help you on your eczema journey.
(Enter the giveaway for a chance to win my new eBook at the end of this post!)
- Have you ever been afraid to meet people because of your eczema?
- Or been afraid to wear t-shirts, go on dates, or do “everyday things” like hang out with people because you’re afraid of what others think?
- Are you afraid that you’ll never heal?
- Do you hate your skin or the way you look & feel?
My new eBook is about how powerful your thoughts are and how the thoughts you think can affect and even impact your eczema.
For instance, did you know that your thoughts hold more medicine than you think?
If you suffer from eczema, you’ll know that your battle with eczema is not just physical – but largely emotional as well.
In fact, did you know that the National Science Foundation claims that humans produce at least 12,000-50,000 thoughts a day? In some cases, as many as 98% of them are exactly the same as we had the day before. Even more significant is that 80% of our thoughts are negative!1
If you’re suffering from eczema, you may be experiencing a lot of negativity as well.
If you don’t exercise “emotional fitness” and learn to change your mindset emotionally to help you win the battle, it’s so easy to become defeated.
For instance, do you ever get frustrated at your skin, at yourself, and the idea that you may never heal?
Charles Swindoll once said that “life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.”
Our minds are so powerful that they can make us ill, or they can make us well. Each feeling you have and each belief you believe impacts every cell in your body.
I remember being a teenager and feeling so jealous that all my friends could lead such normal lives where they could go out and have fun, without worrying about about how their skin looked or how much pain they were in.
I so desperately wanted to be normal.
I so wanted to fit in.
When everyone was busy having fun, I was in pain and busy figuring out how I would survive each day.
It didn’t feel fair.
Every day that I survived became the biggest accomplishment to me. Sadly, I was never sure how I would make it through all the pain, oozing, and redness each day.
This went on for years.
If you’re going through any type of severe eczema, you may be able to relate to this.
I created this eBook to teach you that healing your skin can be as much about healing your thoughts, as it is with food and nutrition.
In fact, fighting eczema can be as much about battling it emotionally as it is physically.
For instance, do you ever find yourself asking questions like:
- Will I ever heal from this? (especially when healing looks impossible)
- Why do I have to be so unlucky to go through this?
- Why is this so discouraging to go through?
- Why does this make me feel so defeated?
- Why is this so frustrating to go through?
If you’ve ever felt any of those things (or if you’ve even pitied yourself for going through this), then you can relate to the tough emotional battle that comes with eczema.
From my experience, people who are stuck in this emotional battle usually continue to live in a cycle of discouragement without realizing how to get out of it.
It personally took me over 10 years to learn how to control my mind and shift it from negative to positive.
And it’s not as easy as it sounds, but I’ve learnt a couple tricks that will shortcut your learning so that you save yourself 10 years of suffering that I had to go through.
In this eBook you’ll learn:
-
- How you can live a normal life without living in constant discouragement and frustration that your eczema will never heal
- How to master your thoughts to help you reach success in your eczema healing journey
- Why your body was born to be a miracle to defeat eczema
- How to break free from defeat that’s slowing your healing
- How you can stop worrying about your eczema flare up’s using the power of positive beliefs and affirmations
- How to train your mindset to defeat eczema and get glowing skin
- Exercises to empower you to love your own skin and grow stronger so you can defeat eczema
As someone who suffered with eczema for over a decade, I understand how difficult the battle is emotionally. And if you don’t learn how to stand or train your thoughts, you can easily fall into a perpetual cycle of discouragement.
The stronger you train your mind and your emotional fitness, the stronger you’ll be to overcome this as well.
Only after 10 years of suffering from it, did I only start learning in the last few years how to shift my mindset so that my thoughts could work in favour of my situation.
Eczema is a hard battle to fight, but learning more about how thoughts will help you overcome this is so much easier.
I can teach you how to fight this emotionally.
And I know that the things I’ve learned in this eBook can help empower you to start feeling stronger so you can live a better life.
Everything in this eBook is full of things I’ve learned on my healing journey. My hope is to share them with you so that it can help you stay strong and master your thoughts on your eczema healing journey.
You can find help to overcome this.

Hi Abby! I’ve been following along your story for a little while and it’s so nice to know that I’m not the only one who’s gone through eczema. I’m considering purchasing this book b/c mental power is the path I realized I need to be on within the last 4 weeks when I discovered the terms chronic itch and pruritis. I’m nervous I’ll get nothing out of this though because I feel like I’ve read so much and have purchased books and have yet to learn any new tips. I already understand that I need to be positive and learn stress management. Of course I know that but yesterday when a brand new stress occurred, here I am again in pain and discomfort and spent the morning beating myself up. I recently learned that scratching an itch releases dopamine so I understand what I’m doing. Scratching feels so good so when I’m stressed I cave into the momentary relief, like a drug addict might cave and have a drink or get high after fighting the urge for so long. I can mostly distract myself during the day, but at night time I either have to stay up until I exhaust myself or take a sleeping pill. I have bad anxiety and OCD due to repeated childhood and adult traumas. Understanding more about that has helped almost eliminate the unnecessary picking. But oh that itch. I know that increasing mental strength through learning or other exercises can increase my ability to restrain. The diagnosed ADHD has been making that a draining endeavor. I’m a very strong person and none of these things keep me down for long. I am half way thru with a masters in teaching and want to get a doctorate in Psych b/c the brain is so fascinating. I know all the answers are in my noggin, but what tips can I purchase about self-restraint and discipline and positivity that I don’t already know? I would assume the tips are ways to maintain them…but I’m such a skeptic at this point. There are so many sites out here right now trying to sell things that don’t work. I already know what I’m allergic to…the world…so my diet is meat and veggies, I make an effort to do some sort of physical activity every day, I work hard to minimize negative people and thoughts around me and inside me, my environment is pretty sterile…but regardless, I itch every 15 seconds of my life. 45 if I scratch, for the last 35 years. It started when I was 1. I’m in FLA and just got an appt with an itch specialist at the Center for Itch in Missouri b/c supposedly that’s where a lot of breakthroughs have been made in understanding itch. Supposedly, at a hospital in Boston they have a new medicine QX-314 that’s supposed to inhibit the itch receptor so I reached out to them. Massages provide me great relief so am searching for a massage vest. Just sharing and will consider purchasing. I don’t understand how you were able to be better. Do you just not feel itchy anymore?
Sunita, I understand you completely. I itch right now while sitting in front of my computer typing. I scratch unconsciously anywhere. I sometimes don’t realize I’m scratching until someone tells me to stop. The itch is so strong that I go to the extreme of closing my office door just to pull down my pants and scratch my legs until I find relieve. I take two Zyrtec daily and that doesn’t help much. This is the worst I’ve been in my who almost 30 years of life.
Thank you Abby for all the support your blogs and youtube videos have given me. I have always had eczema since I was born. It was actually under control and out of sight for about a decade until I got pregnant with my daughter. At three months of pregnancy my eczema flared up 1000% more than when I was younger. I thank GOD for my beautiful daughter who is now 8-months but unfortunately the flare never went away. It progressively got worse day after day, month after month. Many people and doctors told me to wait it out after given birth to see if it will subside but no. I am covered from head to toe and I am not exaggerating. Blisters, ooze, flakiness, redness, scratches and cuts are all you can see in my body even inside my nostril and ear canal. My confidence has drop to the ground and beyond the dirt. I have to admit, I have had suicidal thoughts but only GOD and my 2 wonderful kids are giving me the strength. Your blog post and videos have help me tremendously in having positive affirmation and keeping my head up. People really don’t understand what we go thru. I only want to keep myself locked in my house but I can’t since I have to work and go to school. Everyday I get an ugly “is it contagious?” look from people. Oh and the itchiness Sunita describes in her comment is exactly how I also feel… I get that satisfaction when scratching but then the guilt and the consequences that is left in my skin make me feel worst about myself.
Sorry for the long comment, but sometimes I feel I need to talk to someone who really understands.
Thank you for everything Abby, you have helped so much!
Thank you..that means a lot 🙂 xo
I would love to win this e-book and try it! I have struggled with eczema for 4 years and I have done a lot of dietary and environmental changes. Maybe this is the missing link…
