Have you ever thought about whether you’d still look great or be beautiful, if the words that you spoke about yourself appeared on your skin?
Do you pay attention to how many negative thoughts you feel towards your skin in a day? Or what about the number of positive thoughts that you think towards your skin?
Eczema is so physical – yet it affects people on such a deep level that it can even change how you feel and think about yourself.
I can relate to it because it’s been a big struggle of mine too. I remember saying such hateful words to myself. I also remember not being able to wear makeup for so long because I didn’t want it to affect my skin (even more than it was already affected). And, wearing make up to hide the wounds just felt so uncomfortable.
It’s taken many years just to learn how to develop a positive mindset for myself.
Even struggling to feel and look great when you have eczema is one that affects many – myself included.
So here’s to everyone who struggles with it – even if you just struggle with it a little.
Here’s a quote that I love: “If the words that you spoke about yourself appeared on your skin, would you still feel beautiful?”
This video that I created for you is all about how you can instil a more positive mindset into your life when you’re living with eczema/dermatitis.
I hope you feel more encouraged today! 🙂 xo

Amazing video Abby. I totally agree, the thoughts you think have a tremendous affect on our bodies. I remember I said the worst things about my skin when I had eczema and really bad scars on my legs. But I realized after, saying all these negative things werent making my skin any better. And you are so right, God created us and we are a part of this earth to spread love and positive energy. Sometimes it can be hard to say positive things when your whole life or the majority of your life only negative thoughts flowed in your head, but ones you break out of that shell and start to saying positive things about yourself, you feel alive again. You start to feel happy and a peace. And slowly but surely your body begins to heal. Thanks for this video, this topic is so important.
