NEVER FORGET YOUR PROGRESS. ✌️ It's easy to be so hard on ourselves and forget the accomplishments we've made.
I used to think my healing was SO slow. I was so frustrated at myself because it felt like I was fighting a losing battle.
🌿Here were some of my frustrations:
👉 At one point, I avoided being on camera to record eczema podcasts & YouTube videos for a whole year because I was so embarrassed with how flared my face looked. 🥺🥺
👉 I was upset at myself for not being able to do certain chores
👉 I was frustrated that I wasn't a good mom because I was constantly in pain & limited in mobility
....Little did I know that my skin was healing over time. ❤️
🌿 One thing I've learned is to have more patience, positivity, & love for my journey:
👉 My healing wasn't perfect, and it wasn't fast either. It took me a few years to get 80-90% better. It might sound slow, but my skin is the best it's ever been right now (even tho it's still dry & flaky at times!)
👉 My body may not heal as fast as others, and that's okay. 🙏 I used to get frustrated, but now I'm learning to accept that my body heals in its own time.
👉 I've learned to forgive myself for comparison with others who have healed faster.
👉I've learned to appreciate my body for carrying me through all the tough trials.
👉 I've learned to speak to my body with more love and care. I used to have constant infections, but I'm proud of myself for all that I've been through. 👊
Eczema & TSW may not be easy to go through, but it's made me a stronger person.

🔍 Natural oils are often recommended for skin care, but one research found that one type of oil may not be as good on the skin, as we once thought! 📚
💧 In the study, it turns out that sunflower oil helped to preserve the skin integrity, boost hydration, and reduce inflammation. 🌻
However, olive oil showed a different side. In contrast to sunflower oil, olive oil was shown to damage the skin barrier and even exacerbate atopic dermatitis 😱
