Happy New Year, you all!
I can’t believe another year has flown by so quickly. It seems like only yesterday that I got married and released this post with the top 10 posts of 2014.
This year has been an incredible year for me; not only did I learn more about healing eczema from the inside out, but I had a chance to interview tons of great experts on my podcast (you’ll notice that I’ve slowed down on releasing new podcasts as I’ve been working on some new special projects that are launching very soon!).
In case you missed it, some of my most popular posts last year included:
- The Healing Crisis: Why Your Eczema Gets Worse Before It Gets Better
- What are the Best Body Moisturizers for Eczema?
- How epsom salts can bring you eczema relief
- How to choose the best probiotic to help heal your eczema
- An Open Letter to Eczema Sufferers
- {VIDEO & REVIEW} Lyonsleaf Healing Calendula Cream: Natural Treatment for Eczema
- Why Topical Steroid Withdrawal May Be Causing Your Eczema Flare Ups
In the meantime, I also wanted to share some quick eczema healing testimonials that I received in 2015 to encourage you – wherever you’re at in your healing journey.
Some of them are healing stories, and others are testimonials of how this site has helped them.
Whether or not you’ve been following me since last year, I just want to thank you for letting me share these eczema remedies to help you on your healing journey.
If you haven’t read these healing stories from 2015, you can also check it out here, here, here and here.
I hope these stories will encourage you that you can find healing, despite what doctors may have said to you.
Eczema testimonials:
Rafizol:
“First of all, I want to thank you for your very helpful advice and videos. It really helped me overcome my eczema. I started my eczema healing journey after finding your website and video about elimination diet 6 month ago. Before that, I completely relied on corticosteroid cream and ointment for 2 years. If it’s not because of your website, I would still be thinking that eczema is an incurable disease as orchestrated by most physicians today.
Now after 6 months of elimination diet, 90% of my eczema has cleared up. I no longer experience recurring fever and bacteria infections on my skin and I feel much healthier now. Thank you again.”
YF:
Actually I am a licensed acupuncturist and I treat many patients for allergy, using the technique called NAET. I believe that there is a reason I ended up struggling with eczema, but I have more knowledge about it. Thank you, and when I overcome my eczema I will be able to help more eczema patients in the future.”
SJ:
“At a time when I was told there were no answers for my skin problems and I seemed to be lost without any way to help myself, I found Abby’s site. As a doctor myself, I hadn’t read any journal articles on skin and diet and couldn’t believe the links that are proven that I had never encountered. Abby has given me not only personal help in taking control of and caring for my skin but also redirected my advice for patients who are going through similar things. Abby, you are great; thank you for your positivity, encouragement and honesty. Together we are battling eczema and I am so grateful for your support in my journey.”
Abbie:
“Awww thank you to your fab website! My atopic eczema has cleared up well…absolutely love your website. My scalp and ears that have had eczema for 20 years have never been better!”
Here is a testimony from an 11 year old:
A testimony from a reader on Facebook on using epsom salts:
This following email was from someone who had given up on hope over a year ago, but it’s still one of the most touching emails I’ve received (and my goal is that you’ll be inspired to find hope through these stories as well):
Since I started this blog 2 years ago, it’s amazing how many eczema healing stories have come out of this.
To my readers: thank you so much for being a part of this site and for allowing me to share all of these eczema healing stories with you all!
I look forward to seeing more and more of you find healing as you learn to apply some of these natural eczema remedies in your life.

Hi! I was the one who commented about Epsom salts! It’s been more than 3 months since my severe flareup. I still am not fully healed, but my skin has already improved a lot. Aside from doing the elemination diet and taking supplements, I think what really helped me was keeping a positive attitude. I had to stop working for more than a month because it got so bad. Now I’ve gained back my confidence and I’m working again. Thanks Abby for sharing your knowledge and experience on this site. I look forward to reading more success stories.
Your welcome! And thanks again for sharing about your epsom salt experience. It seems to work for a lot of ppl! And so glad that you’re back at work now. 😉
I was really glad to find all of the information you are sharing. Cutting sugar from my diet has incredibly helpful to the healing of my eczema. Thank you!
You’re welcome 🙂
I think your blog was the blog that kept me going when things were really tough! We also discovered that I had a nasty fungal infection but that is clearing up. I finally feel I can carry on with life again. Unfortunately I have had to use cortisone for weeping spots that won’t clear up but it is very minimal and for severe emergencies only! Changing my diet and finding the right cream has worked for me. Thank you Abby!
You’re welcome. So glad that my blog was able to help you keep going when things were really tough. And I’m happy that you’ve found the right cream and that you’ve been able to make changes to help you!
Thank you for sharing your story Abby. I feel like there is some hope now! I never really suffered with bad eczema growing up, but recently I had a few stubborn spots on my collar bone that would not go away even when using cortisone cream. I decided to stop using all cortisone creams and now am experiencing the worst eczema I have ever had. My neck and jaw line are completely inflamed and oozing yellow stuff resulting in hard crusting. I’m in a lot of pain and agony as well as frustrated. Do you have any tips on what I can do to stop all this sticky oozing? Did you or anyone apply any moisturizer to keep it from drying and how long did it take to eventually heal? I’m so scared it just won’t heal!
Even if you don t need an eczema cure, I d be willing to bet you know someone who does. That s because more than 15 million people in the U.S. are suffering from eczema at this very moment .
